  1. This astrology program for IBM-compatible personal computers
  2. permits you to:
  3.  
  4. 1)  calculate the zodiac sign positions of the ten planets,
  5.     including the sun and moon, and the twelve house cusps for
  6.     any date, time, and place;
  7. 2)  display the chart output in either graphic chartwheel format
  8.     or tabular text format;
  9. 3)  display angle and orb for nine aspects between the planets;
  10. 4)  display the midpoints between the planets as well as
  11.     midpoint/planet conjunctions;
  12. 5)  display supplemental calculations such as the Julian day and
  13.     sidereal time;
  14. 6)  display for purposes of transits or chart synastry the
  15.     aspects between the first chart calculated and an unlimited
  16.     number of additional charts;
  17. 7)  customize the program to use one of four house system alter-
  18.     natives to the default Placidus house system;
  19. 8)  customize the program to use the Sidereal zodiac instead of
  20.     the default Tropical zodiac, and specify a delta factor or
  21.     offset to the Sidereal zodiac;
  22. 9)  customize whether the program treats the Ascendant, Midheaven,
  23.     moon's nodes and Part of Fortune as planets in chart display/
  24.     comparisons;
  25. 10) save calculated charts to file;
  26. 11) review saved charts;
  27. 12) display the mutual aspects and indexes of communication
  28.     between any two saved charts to determine compatibility;
  29. 13) display mutual aspects between a saved chart and a calculated
  30.     chart as a way of investigating the transits at any time;
  31. 14) conduct rapid searches for compatible matches between the
  32.     charts in the database according to user-defined criteria of
  33.     sex, age, and minimum required mutual communication and
  34.     compatibility index levels;
  35. 15) calculate a list that shows when the transiting planets will
  36.     form aspects to any saved chart;
  37. 16) customize the starting planet for the transits list to be 
  38.     any planet from the sun to Pluto and the list period to be
  39.     from one month to twelve months;
  40. 17) display maps of the United States in color or of the world in 
  41.     hi-res B&W on screen; see the longitude, latitude, and (on
  42.     US) the time zone for any spot to which you have used the
  43.     cursor keys to move the arrow cursor.
  44. 18) see the exact longitude, latitude, and time zone of 50 U.S.
  45.     cities and 50 world cities.
  46. 19) for all the individuals in the chart database print a
  47.     hardcopy of their birth data with corresponding record
  48.     numbers;
  49. 20) delete selected saved charts from the chart database; and
  50. 21) sort the saved chart names into alphabetical order.
  51. 22) Version 9.5 will be the last version to fit within 256K RAM.
  52.     It may also be the last version to be distributed in the 
  53.     public domain.  I am developing a commercial program with
  54.     more features called AstrolDeluxe, which sells for $59.00.
  55.     At present, it adds a high-resolution color chartwheel for
  56.     users with VGA or EGA/256K+ graphics, support for a wide
  57.     variety of printers (including color printers), asteroids,
  58.     declinations, composite charts, dBase III file storage, and
  59.     more.  If you have a 4.77 MHz machine and no math coprocessor
  60.     you may prefer ASTROL95; AstrolDeluxe will be slower because
  61.     it emulates an absent math coprocessor in software.
  62.     Registered users of ASTROL95 may obtain the new program for
  63.     an additional $35.  I sell other programs such as TimeSearch,
